Before Tumblr, I’ve honestly never heard of a thigh gap, let alone known that the subject was so important to teenage girls.
A thigh gap does not dictate another person’s worth, health, fitness or eating habits. What it does show, is that the person has wide hip bones.
On Tumblr, sadly a good number of pictures we see of girls with thigh gaps are taken at particular angles that either enhance or create the appearance of a gap. A great example of it can be found here. (and the entire article here)
Lastly, a thigh gap (or any other vain reason) should not be the goal in fitness. The goal should be to become healthy and maintain that lifestyle. A thigh gap is just some overrated obsession that shouldn’t make anyone feel inferior or insecure!
Thigh gap or not, I guarantee you are beautiful!

“I hate them,” I say.

time flies when you’re having fun and by fun i mean sitting at home stuffing your face staring at a computer screen and freaking out over things that aren’t real with strangers you met on the internet
